The Hobbit

The Hobbit is a book by J.R.R. Tolkien and is the story of Bilbo. It is the story that comes before the Lord of the Rings.

Hobbits are little people with big, hairy feet. They like smoking and partying, they don't usually like adventures. One of these hobbits names is Bilbo.

One day several dwarves arrive at Bilbo's house to invite him to an adventure. They want to kill the dragon Smaug and regain their precious treasure. The 12 dwarves, Gandalf, Bilbo and begin the long journey up the mountain where Smaug is.

On the way Bilbo meets Golum and some powerful characters. He struggles with orcs and wolves. On the way he finds a gold ring, that, when worn, makes a person invisible.

It's a really cool book and has goblins, elves, hobbits, wizards, dwarves, ect.
